Mr. Kim T. Camacho

Duration: Three (3) days and two (2) nights

INTRODUCTION

The people in the community are too active in the different aspects of life. In this period, they explore different things that they have not tried or done and they become too adventurous and curious about different things in life. They have spent too much time in trying a myriad of unfamiliar activities, which most of the time lead to oversight. Sometimes, it is very helpful if they experience training and development programs.

We formulated a training program called Youth Development Training for everyone to discover and enhance leadership skills that will be beneficial to their community. We all know that youth are striving really hard to reach the excellence in their school or community. We are extending help to mold our future leaders to be a competitive professional in our society.

YOUTH CAMP TRAINING (YOUTH DEVELOPMENT TRAINING)

It is a design that will train and guide people on leading effectively and engaging their team properly. It is a process on leading oneself while leading others. Also, this program will equip the participants with being able to develop and nurture the community.

In this training, the participants will experience the 5 Rs, that is, giving their members RESPONSIBILITIES, setting the REQUIREMENT, giving REWARDS after reaching the requirement, making them a ROLE MODEL in an organization, and building healthy RELATIONSHIPS with them.

METHOD

Currently, we are using the method of experiential learning by involving the participants in an activity for them to learn the essence of each activity. Experiential learning is a powerful way to address individual growth and potential and is a commonly neglected approach to teaching and developing people of all ages.

After each game, the trainer-facilitator will synthesize by asking insightful questions to the participants. It is written in this formula L = IA + C (T + P).

In this formula, it says that learning (L) is equal to interactive activities (IA) plus the collaboration (C) of the trainer (T) and the participants (P). By conducting fun games with the participants, they unconsciously learn the essence of each activity provided by us. We have great facilitators that will share wisdom about leadership.

OBJECTIVES

By the end of this three-day Youth Camp, the participants should have:

- Discovered and developed their leadership skills;

- Started supporting the achievement of their people’s needs and their organization’s aims;
