I can give you a rundown of what I’ve done but my curriculum vita sufficiently covers that. Instead, let me tell you about what makes me wake up in the morning and do what I do.

I’m passionate about learning and development. I strongly believe in personal development and how that with time and attention devoted to it, individuals can convert their own professional and personal trajectories.

Learning and Development

My corporate experience and varied training consultancy engagements have married my passion for learning and development with an insight to identification, alignment, design, and conduct of training programs and other interventions that are rooted in and that address what an organization needs.

I look out for ways to convert these into learning opportunities that equip individuals with skills and knowledge that enable them to perform well and meet their organization’s goals so that they manifest in its corporate performance.

Trainer and Coach

Through training and coaching, I help individuals to adopt and adapt to new competencies. I aim for ownership of their learning. It’s not about repeating the concepts I teach. I aim for individuals who can see how the training they go through can improve their organizational performance. I want them to emerge from a training session and personally take on steps to make changes in their performance possible.

Communicator

I deliver effective spoken and written messages that clearly convey what’s intended and that support the goal of the engagement.

I developed my areas of expertise working full-time over the last three years as an Independent Learning and Development Consultant and before that, as an employee engaged in corporate learning, human resources, and training and development. I’m partners with various consultancies providing training to clients from various industries (Outsourcing, Shared Services, IT, MNCs, Government, Real Estate, and SMEs). I’m experienced in the full spectrum of training and development from training needs analysis, curriculum design and development, delivery and facilitation, assessment, and coaching.

Creating instructional materials and writing about business cases and topics related to the training program I conduct allow me to research and view from a more grounded and informed consideration of the various fields I impact learning on.

Finally, I’m a believer that anyone who imparts learning should never stop learning herself. While reading (industry-related online articles, books, fiction, and practically anything I can get my hands on) a lot is a primary way for me to acquire more knowledge, I likewise participate in training and organizations that help me develop my skills and knowledge further.
